Influenced by the countryside
The Brown-Forman Corporation, owners of Jack Daniel’s, invited us to the company’s visitor center in Lynchburg, TN for a two-day design charrette. Poss was asked to create a vision for the Barbecue Pavilion; a hillside facility which would host numerous events during warm weather months, and would serve 200 guests on average. The owners shared with us the company’s renewed focus on the visitor experience and a desire for quality. The final design drew influences from the site views of the countryside, the local character, and the stature of the icon brand.
