INTERIOR RESIDENTIAL SENIOR LEAD DESIGNER – DENVER, CO

Poss Architecture and Interior Design is expanding to Denver, and we’re looking for a Senior Interior Designer to lead our residential interior design department. SENIOR COMMERCIAL INTERIOR DESIGNER - BOISE, ID


We are seeking a highly experienced Interior Designer who will be responsible for leading and contributing to the design and execution of commercial interior projects, with occasional involvement in high-end residential projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design perspective, technical expertise, and project management skills to deliver innovative, functional, and aesthetically superior environments. They will collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and clients to ensure seamless project execution while upholding the firm’s commitment to excellence in design and service.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development

·        Develop innovative and conceptually strong interior design solutions for commercial spaces, including hospitality, workplace, retail, and mixed-use developments.

·        Assist in the design of high-end residential interiors as needed, ensuring consistency with the firm’s standards of quality and aesthetics.

·        Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and conceptual sketches to communicate design intent effectively.

·        Conduct space planning, test fits, and schematic design for commercial interior projects.

·    Research and implement cutting-edge materials, finishes, and furniture solutions suitable for commercial applications.

Project Documentation & Technical Execution

·       Develop and oversee detailed construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details using Revit, AutoCAD, and other industry-standard software.

·        Specify FF&E with a strong understanding of commercial-grade materials and procurement processes.

·    Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and contractors to ensure accuracy in material specifications and execution.

·        Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and consultants to integrate interior design with building systems and ensure code compliance.

Project Management & Client Interaction

·       Lead and manage multiple interior design projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

·       Conduct client presentations and effectively communicate design ideas, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand identity.

·     Participate in site visits and construction administration, reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and conducting punch lists to ensure design integrity.

·       Proactively problem-solve project challenges and provide creative, effective solutions.

Collaboration & Team Development

·       Mentor junior designers and support staff, providing guidance on design processes and technical skills.

·       Foster strong relationships with external partners, including contractors, consultants, and industry professionals.

·       Contribute to the firm’s design culture by staying informed on industry trends, sustainable design practices, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications & Skills

·       Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design or a related field.

·   Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience, with a strong focus on commercial interior design (hospitality, workplace, retail, mixed-use). Some residential experience is a plus but not required.

·       Software Proficiency: Revit (strongly preferred), AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office.

·       Knowledge: Deep understanding of interior architecture, commercial furniture systems, materiality, and building codes.

·       Project Management Skills: Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, and budgets.

·       Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-facing abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

·       NCIDQ certification (or working towards it).

·       LEED, WELL, or another sustainability-related accreditation.

·       Experience working in a high-end design firm with a luxury focus.

BIM MANAGER/BIM COORDINATOR - ASPEN, CO

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Manager/BIM Coordinator to support our BIM Director in leading and executing our company’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) operations. This role will be instrumental in implementing and enforcing BIM standards and workflows to ensure project excellence and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and related Autodesk platforms, with a focus on parametric content development, data management, and collaborative project delivery. You will work closely with the BIM Director to implement BIM strategy, optimize our Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) environment, and provide expert training and support to project teams.

ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE - ASPEN, CO


We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for a finance professional with 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Examine all invoices received and direct them into the accounts payable system

  • Manage the monthly Accounts Payable process and general accounting

  • Respond and resolve payment or billing issues with vendors

  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions

  • Maintain procedures and policies for accounts payable

  • Assist with General Ledger reconciliations and journal entries

  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end reconciling and reporting

  • Maintains confidentiality of all information related to employees.

Interior Design Accounting

  • Purchasing project reconciliations

  • Verify Project client deposits and project cash flows

  • Payables – process all check requests

  • File and submit all sales taxes

Administrative functions:
