Margaret Long
Project Manager | Interior Architecture
Margaret Long graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2017. During her time in Louisiana, when she wasn't logging studio hours, Margaret devoted her free time to exploring the unique cultural landscape of Louisiana; discovering the abundant art, food, and music that make that state famous.
She was deeply impacted by her experience studying architecture in Rome, Italy in 2015. It is where she catalyzed her love of historical properties and natural materials mixed with updated modern finishes and furniture. Rome’s deep history and significant modernization ignited a passion to create rich, layered, beautiful spaces to be enjoyed by others.
After graduation, she worked in the custom residential realm in Atlanta for five years. There she learned the art of designing traditional homes, utilizing classical proportions, custom millwork, and transitional floorplans.
Eventually, her love of the outdoors and modern architecture brought Margaret to the mountains. She is now enjoying blending her architectural background with the Roaring Fork Valley’s unique design opportunities. In her spare time, Margaret enjoys traveling, needleworking, yoga, hiking, and skiing with friends.
