Jamie Marchini
Architect
Jamie Marchini began her architectural endeavors at the University of Florida and received both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in architectural design. During that time, she learned the fundamental principles of design, from studies of space, form, systems, and context. She realized how valuable architecture is to society and how it is the defining element that interrelates the landscape and other contextual influences with the cultural and social environment. She learned to envision architecture both abstractly and creatively.
Jamie continues the process of storytelling through architectural designs and translates that into the built form. She has worked on a wide range of projects including healthcare, education, office, and most recently hospitality. Her experience at Olson Kundig shaped her career in ski resorts and mountain architecture from hotels, condos, and single-family residences.
Outside of work, Jamie is engaged in different movement activities including acrobatic yoga, handstands, skiing, backpacking, and paddleboarding. Her more chill times include reading, watching documentaries, or socializing with friends.
