Deana Juskys
Senior Associate | Senior Interior Designer
Deana grew up in a Lithuanian family in the United States and moved across the country several times before graduating high school. She credits her multicultural upbringing and this exposure to new experiences and new landscapes with instilling in her a sense of wanderlust and a love of travel, which in turn has greatly shaped her perspective on architecture and design. The people and cultures she encountered while traveling encouraged her to think about how space and place can shape our life experiences and vice versa. While studying Environmental Design at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, she was further taught to look beyond style and really consider these links between the psychological, physical, emotional and sensory effects of creating spaces.
These core principles drive her mission to create thoughtful, beautiful interiors that celebrate the buildings that contain them, the landscapes that surround them, and that speak naturally of the people who inhabit them. She has worked in hospitality design in Los Angeles and in luxury residential design in Telluride, CO. Deana is a recent transplant to Aspen and joined the Poss team in 2021 as a Senior Designer and Project Manager.
When not designing, she likes to think of herself as an outdoor enthusiast, an amateur night sky photographer, a maker of charcuterie boards, an occasion-to-dress-up-in-costume seeker, and an infrequent but impassioned polka dancer.
