Project Manager
Brian Venable brings over 30 years of architectural expertise to his role as Project Manager at PDSI. His extensive experience spans scope development, design, design review, bid solicitation, and construction administration, ensuring comprehensive service and exceptional quality control for clients and their projects.
Brian’s career highlights his specialization in historic restoration and renovation, with notable projects including the Ivy Building and Essex Building in Minneapolis, as well as the transformation of the American Optical factory in Southbridge, Massachusetts. His leadership extended to ADA compliance and accessibility upgrades for AMTRAK stations nationwide, including iconic locations such as Rhinecliff, NY; Glenwood Springs, CO; Red Wing, MN; and Niles, MI. His meticulous approach ensured that updates seamlessly integrated into the historic fabric of these sites.
Before joining PDSI, Brian held key roles at renowned firms such as Elkus Manfredi Architects, MV+A Architects, and Parker-Torres Design. His portfolio includes prestigious hospitality and commercial projects such as The Aspen Ritz-Carlton Hotel, The Grand Veranda Resort Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi, The Boston Copley Square Hotel, Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center in Massachusetts, and the award-winning InterContinental Hotel & Residences in Boston, MA, recognized as the 2006 ALIS "Development of the Year."
Brian earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University's School of Fine and Professional Arts. He is a licensed architect, NCARB-certified in California and Massachusetts, and an active member of the Washington, DC, AIA Chapter.
